This training will be delivered face-to-face by a qualified first aid providers.

The course is suitable for those who want to become a first aid provider within their workplace. There is no previous knowledge or training requirement to attend this course.

The Emergency first aid at work course is a one-day course which covers the role of the emergency first aid provider. The course covers the following subjects:

  • Assessment of the situation
  • Carrying out of first aid to an unconscious casualty
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
  • Choking
  • Wounds and bleeding
  • Shock
  • Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
  • Minor injuries.
